Common questions
The link my friend sent doesn't open the app
If tapping it opens a browser, don't worry — the invite is not lost. The "Open in the App" button on that page takes you into the game. If the app isn't installed, use the download button on the same page, then tap the link again.
If the page says "There is no invite in this link", the link was clipped by the chat app. Ask your friend to send it again, whole and unshortened.
Photos won't load
Frames are downloaded from Wikimedia Commons, so the first play needs an internet connection. On a weak connection or behind a network block, photos can come up empty. Frames you have already seen are cached and open offline.
Live 1v1 can't find an opponent
Live duels run on Game Center, so you need to be signed in under Settings → Game Center on your phone. If you are not signed in, or nobody is available right then, the game puts you against the AI rival instead of leaving you waiting. When you are playing a real person, their name is shown on screen.
I want to reset my statistics
Settings → Reset statistics. This cannot be undone: scores, streaks and match history are erased.
I want to change the app's language
The app follows your phone's language and runs in nine of them (Turkish, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese). You can also pick one by hand in the app's Settings.
I changed phones and lost my progress
That is expected: the game has no account and no server, so everything lives on the device (see the privacy policy). In exchange, the game is free, needs no sign-up and works largely offline. Transferring between devices is not possible for now.
A photo's date or place is wrong
It happens — archive records are not always precise. Tell us which frame it was (the caption shown at the end of the round is enough) and it gets corrected or removed from the library. Reports like this genuinely help.
I hold the copyright to one of the images
Every frame in the game comes from Wikimedia Commons as public domain or openly licensed material, and its credits are shown inside the app. If you believe we got one wrong, write to us; it will be reviewed and, if needed, taken down the same day.
When reporting a bug
These details make it much faster to fix:
- Your phone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About)
- The app version (at the bottom of Settings inside the app)
- What you were doing — "on the score screen after a duel", for example
- A screenshot, if you have one
